ABOUT US

The objective of the Barbados Drug Service (BDS) is to provide quality drugs at an affordable price. The BDS does this by listing those pharmaceuticals available through its programme in the Barbados National Drug Formulary (BNDF). The BNDF provides a list of pharmaceuticals for use in both the public and private sector. A copy of the BNDF is given free of cost to every physician, pharmacist, senior nurse, as well as, medical, pharmacy and nursing students. The Formulary is under continuous review by the Drug Formulary Committee which is appointed by the Minister of Health
