Nursing Council

The Nursing Council of Barbados is the sole regulatory body for registered nurses, midwives, nursing assistants and nursing auxillaries in Barbados. These nursing personnel groups in order to practice in their respective fields in Barbados must be awarded a certificate called a Practising Certificate as indicated in the Nurses’ Act 2008-3 Section 18 (1).
