The David Thompson Health and Social Services Complex, located at Glebe Land, St. John, will host an event in celebration of its 10th anniversary and launch its community gym on Wednesday, November 26, at 1:00 p.m.  The complex was officially opened on November 20, 2015.

The community gym will be a collaborative effort between the Ministries of Health and Wellness and Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment.

The event will be held at the polyclinic and remarks will be delivered by Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment, Charles Griffith; Minister of State in the Ministry of Health and Wellness, Davidson Ishmael, and other health and wellness officials.

There will be presentations and performances by surrounding schools and community representatives, and a demonstration and tour of the gym.
